Our members have a strong desire to share the magic of flight and provide an opportunity for our youth to learn more about aviation.
Young Eagle events feature a flight simulator experience, exposure to basic aerodynamics, and an opportunity to talk with, and go flying with, an experienced/qualified pilot.
On top of all this, for 2024 Chapter 526 will interview scholarship applicants and select (2) awardees to attend the one-week EAA Air Academy Basic Camp described below in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
